Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations between GASTRO HOLDING CANDOLA s.r.o., Králodvorská 1086/14, 110 00 Praha 1, Company ID: 24820041, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 177307 (hereinafter the “seller”), and the buyer – either a consumer or a business customer (hereinafter the “buyer”).
The Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made in the online shops candola.cz and ancap.cz.
1. Definitions
Buyer – consumer (B2C)
A person who, when entering into a contract, does not act within the scope of their business activity (§ 419 of the Civil Code).
Buyer – business customer (B2B)
A person who purchases goods within the scope of their business activity, typically using a Company ID.
Contract
A purchase contract concluded between the seller and the buyer.
2. Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
Consumer (B2C)
The purchase contract is formed at the moment the buyer submits the order via the shopping cart.
The seller subsequently confirms receipt of the order by an informational e‑mail. This confirmation does not affect the formation of the contract.
Business customer (B2B)
The purchase contract is formed at the moment the buyer submits the order via the shopping cart, in the same way as for consumers.
By submitting the order, the business buyer confirms that they have read the Terms and Conditions and undertake to pay the purchase price.
The seller reserves the right to cancel the order in the event of an obvious error, unavailability of goods, or other objective reasons. The buyer will be informed of the cancellation without delay.
By submitting the order, the buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and the document Complaints and Returns.
3. Price of Goods
Prices of goods are always displayed including VAT and excluding VAT.
The price including VAT is binding for consumers.
For business customers, the price excluding VAT is also displayed.
Information about prices is binding except in the case of an obvious error.
The seller reserves the right to adjust prices if input costs change.
4. Payment Terms
Payment due date for goods
- Bank transfer: payment details are provided in the order confirmation. The total price is due immediately, no later than 7 days.
- Online card payment: the total price is due immediately.
- Cash on delivery: the total price is due upon receipt of the goods. The fee for cash on delivery is shown with the order.
Online Payments – Shoptet Pay
Online payments are processed via the Shoptet Pay payment gateway.
The payment is governed by the General Terms and Conditions of the Shoptet Pay payment gateway.

Issuing an Invoice
The seller issues the invoice on the day the goods are dispatched or on the day of payment.
The invoice is typically placed inside the parcel.
The seller is a VAT payer.
Failed Delivery
If the buyer refuses to pay upon delivery (cash on delivery / cash), the parcel will be returned.
The buyer is obliged to pay the costs of failed delivery and dispatch if the refusal occurred for reasons on their side.
Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of the seller until the purchase price is paid in full.
5. Delivery Time
Goods in stock are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days.
In the event of goods being sold out, the buyer will be informed without delay.
The tax document is placed inside the parcel.
Personal Collection (B2B only – wholesale customers)
Personal collection is not a standard service of the e‑shop.
It is available only for wholesale customers and only following prior telephone arrangement between both parties.
Personal collection takes place at a mutually agreed time and address:
U Továren 256, Prague 15 – Hostivař
Without prior arrangement, it is not possible to collect the goods in person.
6. Transport
Goods are shipped via the carriers GLS and FedEx.
The choice of carrier depends on the destination country.
The 30 kg limit applies to one parcel.
Orders exceeding this weight may be split into multiple parcels or handled individually.

GLS – delivery to EU countries and selected non‑EU countries
GLS provides delivery to most European Union countries and also to certain non‑EU countries where this service is available.
Shipping prices vary depending on the destination country.
FedEx – delivery to countries where GLS is not available
FedEx provides delivery to countries where GLS is not available, particularly to the United Kingdom.

Pallet transport (B2B only – following prior agreement)
Pallet transport is not a standard service of the e‑shop.
It is available only for business customers (B2B) and only following prior individual agreement between both parties.
Orders exceeding parcel limits are handled individually depending on the nature of the order and the destination country.
The price of pallet transport is communicated to the buyer before confirming dispatch.
Buyer not present
If the buyer is not present, the parcel may be stored at the carrier’s depot or re‑delivered.
The buyer is obliged to pay the costs associated with repeated delivery if the failed delivery occurred for reasons on their side.
Transfer of risk of damage
- B2C: the risk of damage passes to the buyer only at the moment of taking delivery of the consignment.
- B2B: the risk of damage passes to the buyer at the moment of delivery of the consignment. If the buyer (business customer) arranges transport independently, the risk of damage passes upon handing the consignment over to the carrier.
Transport arranged independently by the buyer is not a standard service of the e‑shop. It is available only to business customers (B2B) and only following a prior individual agreement between both parties.
Transport of fragile goods
Goods are packed with regard to their fragility.

7. Inspection of the Parcel upon Receipt
The buyer is obliged to inspect the parcel upon receipt.
If the packaging is visibly damaged, we recommend:
- adding a note to the delivery sheet,
- possibly drawing up a damage report with the carrier,
- taking photographs of both the packaging and the contents.
This recommendation does not limit the statutory rights of the consumer.
8. Rights arising from defective performance (complaints)
The buyer’s rights are governed by the Civil Code (§ 1914–1925, § 2099–2117, § 2161–2174).
Consumer (B2C)
The consumer is entitled to:
- repair of the defect,
- replacement of the goods,
- a reasonable discount,
- withdrawal from the contract in cases stipulated by law.
The warranty lasts 24 months from receipt of the goods.
Business customer (B2B)
The business buyer exercises rights arising from defective performance pursuant to § 2099 to 2117 of the Civil Code.
How to submit a complaint
A complaint may be submitted:
- by e‑mail to info@candola.cz,
- via the form Complaints – Complaint Form,
- in writing to the seller’s address.

9. Withdrawal from the Contract (returns)
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured or customised according to the buyer’s wishes or for their person. For such goods, withdrawal within the 14‑day period is not possible for either consumers or business customers.
Withdrawal may be carried out:
- via the online form Notice of Withdrawal from the Purchase Contract,
- using the button Return Goods,
- by e‑mail to info@candola.cz.

10. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
The processing of personal data is governed by the document Personal Data Processing Policy (GDPR).
11. Final Provisions
The seller reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions.
The valid version is always published on the website.
Effective Date
These Terms become effective on 27 July 2026.
